Susan grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania in Washington County and lived for many years by the Monongahela River. From fishing with her dad on the "banks of the Mon" to boating and swimming with her brothers and friends, Susan learned to appreciate, respect, and love the water and the outdoors at an early age.

In 2014, Susan joined the Board of Directors of Glade Run Lake Conservancy (GRLC). Since her arrival on the Board, she has worked on fundraising activities including the WOW (Where's Our Water) 10K races, event planning, membership, newsletter writing, and the creation of the Glade Run Lake Conservancy business plan.

For many years, Susan has been employed in the area of sales, marketing, customer service, and project management, and to the benefit of the GRLC, these skills and abilities have been frequently utilized.

In 2003, Susan and her husband Dennis moved to Middlesex Township in Valencia, PA. In her spare time, Susan enjoys kayaking, hiking, and relaxing at Glade Run Lake with her husband, family, and friends.
